My son's Bar Mitzvah is in 5 weeks. We are having a sports theme - my problem is I'm unsure about the colors I've chosen for the linens. Royal Blue tablecloths with red napkins with red, blue and gold balloons attached to the sport centerpiece. The person making the centerpieces is also supplying the balloons that are to be attached. She suggested black tablecloths with red napkins with silver red and black balloons. It's in a large ballroom with 150 people. I'm unsure about the colors - I definitely want to make a statement and not look ordinary. Help - any opinions? I have to make the final changes by next week. Has anyone done the black red scheme - sounds good - I love red but the black - I'm not so sure any suggestions would be really appreciated.
