Hello. You guys have selected a great theme. I would suggest having the colors be pastel. Kind of like baby blue and lots of white. Maybe some silver. There could be a giant white staircase as your main center point. The dance could be entered though pearly white gates like the gates of heaven. Also add lots of fluffy white clouds through the ceiling. That could turn out real cute. Hope this helps....
Great theme to go with. I think if you make big ballon clouds and make up some ballon trees with white,bleu and sliver ribbons around the room it would really give it that look that you need for your theme. Now as for the stairs you could make them out of some cardboard and have a handy man make a frame the shape of stairs,paint the stairs white and use light bleu plastic that you buy on a roll at a party supplie place. Then on the out line of the stair case pin the plastic along the edge and swag it then add some sliver ballons and curly ribbons. This is a cheap way of doing it, and if you'd like to use netting in the place of the plastic, it may cost abit more,but the look from a distance is about the some. Good luck and hope this helps.
