I am considering about having Sex & City as my wedding theme, and at first I thought it was a great idea since I am a fan of the show, I love designer purses and shoes so I was thinking of having purse candy favors, and shoe candles. My colors are red, white and black and I am pretty set on that. ( not wanting to change my color theme) . I will be 30 yrs old by the time our wedding day will be. But my hesitation is that I dont want my wedding to see like a prom party. Is having a Sex & the city wedding theme a good idea afterall ? I want my wedding to be classy, mature, sophisicated and elegant. NOT like a prom party. I would love to hear some advice on this. Thanks.
I think you can do your theme and still have it be elegant and not like a prom.
I did a Sex and the City Theme for a gal a few years ago and we did the NY Skyline on her centerpieces and she had Martini Glass favors, her colors were pink and black.
