Teen Party Ideas

Cool party ideas for young teens? My soon-to-be 14 year old daughter is desperate for some party games that don't cost a lot of money (none) and don't require her parents to drive all over town getting stuff.

She's invited 30-35 boys and girls mostly aged 13 for this Saturday night. She says they'll play Truth or Dare because it's "interesting". Ahem. She is wracking her brains and ours trying to come up with other fun stuff for them to do that's not lame.

She says the kids are kind of shy about dancing with each other so we need games to break the ice.

Please, a desperate parent cries out for your help!

Re: Teen Party Ideas
A great party game for teens is a scavengerhunt. Split everyone into 2 groups and give each team a list of items or riddles. If you choose the riddles first they must solve the riddles and then go around the neighborhood asking for them. If u just give them a list of stuff they can get started right away!

Party Ideas
You can play ghost in the gravyard or pictional but you make up the ideas on what they should do and put in a hat and draw one thats what they get.

Re: Teen Party Ideas
On my 14th birthday my parents rented me out a limo and picked me and 5 of my friends up at school. Every1 gathered around to see whos limo it was. We all had so much fun in the limo for about an hour and the driver dropped us off at the movie theater and we saw a movie. My friends slept over that night and the next day we went to Busch Gardens and their parents picked them up at about 5 pm. It's a little pricy but WE HAD SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN. Hope this helps

Re: Teen Party Ideas
I personaly don't like board games, but i know teens, being A teen myself(14)and my friends would rather play a board game rather then having to get up and do stupid things like pass a lifesaver around on a toothpick.

Sorry if i wasn't much help to you.

Re: Teen Party Ideas
I had a cool game at my christmas party, you get some useless toys, games, candles ect. And wrap them like presents, put all of them into the middle, and everytime someone rolls doubles they get to take a present. You do that for 10 minutes. Then anyone who doesn't have one takes one from someone who has more than one. You play for another 10 minutes but u take from people because there is nothing left in the middle. After everyone opens their presents. Hope i was a help!

Re: Teen Party Ideas
For my 14th b-day party i am going all out.Last year I didn't have a party so this one is going to make up for it. We have planned to have a dance theme. We are going to have it at a clubhouse lounge sorta place. We hired a really good DJ and this place has a dancefloor. We are going to blow up balloons and have streamers and evrything. We're also going to put my picture in a projector and have it come out on the wall. I am inviting like 55 people. It's going to be co-ed.I don't really no what games we'll play yet but then again a party's never really organized so, i'm not really planning nething. We'll probably have a dance contest tho. Well I hope someone can learn something 2 do from this. Gtg.luv / Betsy

Re: Teen Party Ideas
This is for Myesha. House party's r awesome! So r limo rides. My friend had a hummer limo pick us up from school. Every1 was really feeling th limo. So why don't u try 2 have a combination? What I mean is ask ur parents if u and a few of ur closest friends can ride in the limo and go out somewhere. Then see if u can comeback and have a house party. Trust me it should work out fine. When people see u in that limo, they'll know ur party will be awesome! So just try to work both of them out.Hope I helped u out some.
