I am not a coriogapher but I am helping my little cousin on her quince dance. We are going to start with the introduction of the girls and guys. Then as they are announced, they walk along the edge of the dance floor and form a half circle. From there they will be led in a march to the song Vals De Las Mariposas. Afterwards they will form a circle around the dance floor and witness the exchange of gifts. When the shoes are placed upon the quince's feet, the Father will lead his little girl to the dance floor and dance the first walz. After finnishing the waltz the mom will escort the chambaln to the quincenera to where the entire court takes part of the waltz, with each young man taking his turn to dance with her. After all this has been completed they will finish it off with a cumbia and then open the floor for every one else. I hope this can give you some kind of idea.
