Um. I bought my grad dress at David's Bridal. I love it!!! I thought the people there were super nice and made sure I was happy with my purchase. I came all the way from Canada to find something in the U.S., and it was perfect. Nothing "kmarty" whatsoever. Besides, we have no "kmarts" up here. I'm sorry that all of you had bad experiences though. I guess it happens.
For real if you hate david's just don't shop there! Come on there are thousands of bridal shops in any state.
2 years ago my sister bougth her dress there & had alterations done by their staff too and everything was just great. She was a beautiful bride.
I am also not sure why people are so morbid about David's Bridal. I too had a problem with their Customer Service, but I also understand that there are only so many girls working and a ton of brides with their entire bridal party there to try on dresses and they try on every one in the store and usually come back at least 3 times before eventually picking the first one they tried on. That is what I did and I also know what it feels like being on the other side. I was a Bridal Shop consultant for about 2 years in a private shop. I loved it, but we didnt have the amount of people coming into the store that David's did. I found my dress there and it was much more inexpensive than any other store!!!!! It is rediculous what some people want for a bridal gown!!
What is good about David's is that they have a large selection of stylish dresses in practically every size, including plus sizes. I liked that a lot being plus sized myself. Thanks for the chance to vent....... ;)

It is a beautiful and sexy dress without being too sexy for any type of a wedding. I wore it only once for about 4-5 hours in Jan 2004, and it is in perfect condition.
