My fiancee and I are paying for our wedding ourselves and I would like to find a dress for $200.00 or under if possible. We are young and just getting out of college and don't have a lot of money to spend on a gown. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your help.

It was the sample dress at a dress shop so it will need to be cleaned after you have it altered.

Hey is this the same "Cutie" or whatever that has been asking for a dress for under $200 for several months now? I know a friend of mine owns a shop and advertises here, and I believe responded to this person with offers of gowns. If this is the same "Cutie", are you saying you haven't been able to find anything by now? If you haven't, maybe you need to up your price. After all, this is a wedding gown you're looking for. You will not get offers for high-end gowns for under $200.00. What is it with the people on these boards, either looking for freebies or "something under $200.00"? For the most important day of your life, you want something cheap? You're not willing to save up for something that costs more? Wanting something that isn't $1,500 is one thing, but something less than $200.00? What do you expect the gown to look like for that cost? If you're the same person who has been asking this for months, surely by now you've had many, many offers. You've turned them all down and you have less than $200.00? UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone else posted saying they want a dress "but have no money". WHAT???!!!!! I can't believe these people on these boards!!!!!! If you really wanted a dress under $200, they are out there. E-bay has tons. Why do you keep asking this? Because you're looking for something worth $1,500 and not willing to pay a dime over that. Go to the courthouse, Cutie. It'll cost you about $50.00....and you'll have change coming, go to dinner with the change.
