You'll have two different list, its all on how they put it in there. I got my cake knife & server set there, namebrand silver, brand new unopened, and cheap!!!! Good luck!
If you are having a Medievil Wedding, you can go to Hot Topic in a mall, if there is one nearby, and get a dress for like $ 100.00 or less........that is what I did.
Where are you located? I got mine at a thriftshop in Palo Alto, CA for $150! It was a brand new, never-been-worn Marisa dress that still had the $1,500 tag on it! So, check around at thrift shops in nice neighborhoods, not just an average goodwill.

Check bridal shops with discontinued dresses. I am from Michigan and I went to a bridal shop that had racks of dresses from $600 and up that were discontinued and they were selling them from $99 to 299. I got a great deal on a dress that had never been worn just because they couldn't order it any more. Also, one bridal shop suggested that I order a bridesmaid's dress. Some of them are very pretty and you can order them in white. Some companies even let you design your own for less than $200. Good luck!

I bought my dress at Mervyns for 15 bucks. It is an nightgown but who cares, it's an outdoor wedding and a simple dress will do fine. Why get grass stains on a 1000 dollar dress? There are also some nice dresson Ebay for 200 dollars. Or check out www.pyramidcollection.com

Try the JC Penney's Outlet...my friend bought a beautiful dress there for $199...I found my bridesmaid's dresses for $9.99....and they're perfect!! It's worth a shot! Best of luck!

Their bridal gowns are pretty expensive, but their formal wear is really affordable and could easily pass for a wedding dress, everything's under $300. I have a never worn beautiful gown with a veil. The dress has a layered skirt, pointed waist w/ beaded neckline. It is short sleeve, slightly bubble but those can always be altered. It DOES NOT have a train, it is beautiful but never got married in it. It is a size 13/14. Bought from Margie's, which is no longer in business. The veil is mid back or so with a beaded (pearls) on the edge of the fabric. Hand made for me. Never used. Have silk flower bouquet for bride, top of cake and 3 bridesmaids. I also have 1 bridesmaid dress w/ shawl, beautiful plum/cranberry, which I wore for Nov. 2002 wedding, also size 14. Can also be worn as a Prom dress. Bought from David's Bridal. I have accessories for the wedding dress, bag, shoes (9) and earrings. I really need the money, just had a baby. Please let me know if interested in anything.
A friend told me a little known secret when we were shopping on a TIGHT budget for my daughter-in-law to be.Most dry cleaners have a policy that they will hold on to articles of clothing {including WEDDING DRESSES!} for a limited amount of time {6 mo.?} before selling them to the public at the cost of the cleaning bill. We bought hers,just cleaned for $35.00 and they had quite a selection,you'd be surprised how many people drop off they're dry cleaning and never pick it up.It's worth the phone call to your local dry cleaner! I agree with everyone eles. Try ebay. I got mine from there it was used but personally I didnt care. Its new to me because I never wore it before. I'm a size 16-18 and had no problems finding a very nice dress with a 7 foot train for under 100 dollars and that included shipping. But I must encourage you to check out sellers feedback and be aware of proper ebay trading rules
