I did not decide on this dress, but i think that particular shop that i did talk about is still offering the dress at that price. What is it about this dress that has everyones heart... My personal opinion and some of my family is that it takes away from YOU, the bride. The first thing you see is all the embrodiary,, it is an exceptional looking dress but takes away from the bride. But everyone has their own style,, i decided on a GInza that blew every dress out of the water, even this one that stayed in till the very last decision. Best of luck, takecare, smiles :-) sarah

I'm glad you made your decision and why you did makes a lot of sense. Sometimes it is the popularity of a dress, not the dress itself, that makes people want it. Don't let a celebrity be seen in a certain style, either! Taste is very personal, but I agree with you that the dress is so "busy" with too much color and it does take away from the bride instead of compliment. We need to consider that many models are 5'10, 110 pounds and it looks fantastic on them, but better on them, too. I'm glad you chose another gown without giving in to the popularity of that gown. Hello everyone looking for the OLEG embroidery dress. You will not find it anywhere else except for David's Bridal because it is an original design by Oleg Cassini. I purchased the wedding dress this month and I am going to work extra hours to pay it off :) If you really want it, you might as well get it because it will not be cheaper until the end of July or August. That is how gowns usually run...in seasons. If you really want it...you have to get it and it is worth every penny. You deserve it!
It is really interesting how people can bash a dress. I know of someone who fell in love with the oleg cassini cv008 dress when she saw it at the store and had no clue that it was popular. I don't see people bashing your dresses.
