Im getting married in jan 2004 and im doing a winter wonderland theme. Im using all white flowers in tall glass vases with crinkled up cellophane that looks like ice. Im also doing lots of white birch trees with twinkle lights and im having tables that are named with winter themes. I have lots of ideas if anyone needs any
For winter brides, David's Bridal sells a long white cape with faux fur trim on it, that looks really beautiful on a winter bride (and will you keep you warm). I saw them and almost bought one, but my wedding was in late winter and the weather wasn't quite cold enough for that. You could probably also find the cape at other bridal stores besides David's. I think its quite common.
I'm getting married in January 2006 and I need some ideas on how to decorate for my winter wonderland theme. My colors are going to be navy blue and sliver. Can you help?
Hi joy, my best friend is having a winterwonderland theme and we could use some ideas. I think she was looking at shades of blue as her colors. Also any ideas on bouquets, decorations, and attire will be appreaciated. We live in florida and the climate is hot even in january when her wedding is so we want the whole ambiance of the church to be transformed to winter when the guests arrive. Let me know. Thanks!
My wedding is Feb 2005, and here are some of the things that I am doing:
1)Bridesmaids are carrying candles instead of bouquets. You could also have them use fur muffs.
2)My flower girl will be a snow angel, complete with wings, and glitter snowflakes in her basket.
3)Favors can be spiced teas, or hot cocoa packets.
4)Use plenty of white lights in any greenery you have.
5)I have found "sparkle ice" in the wedding aisle at Wal-Mart. I will be sprinkling this on the tables around the centerpieces.
6) Make use of snow globes, or snow villages on the tables.
