I need some advise. My wedding is in one month and we have already spent almost $6,000 on it. But, as the date comes closer, my fiance and I are fighting more and more, over stupid things. I don't know what to do. The fights are getting rediculous. Is it just prewedding jitters or should we really reconsider our marriage? Please respond.
Everything. He got mad at me the other day because i was telling him everything we needed to do and he got mad and said he didn't want to hear about everything we needed to do.
Then we got in a fight over the tiara for our daughters. He has a little girl and I have a little girl.
Then we got in a fight over what I made for dinner. It is just anything and everything and it is stupid things. We have been together for two years and we have never fought like this. What do you think? COuld it be the stress of the wedding and the money? We are fighting alot over the money, also. We are really tight on money because of the wedding and we don't have the money to do anything.
If your problems are about money, you guys need to seriously sit down and talk about your budget etc. You do not want to start a marriage like this. However my FH and I are fighting about stupid things right now too. (Getting married June 12). However our fights are more about not having enough "non-wedding" time to ourselves right now. If you have a religous background you could always speak to your minister/pastor/bishop about how to work through this as a couple, or if not there are many web sites that offer budgeting help. Maybe try to do more of the wedding things yourself. Does he really need to have a say in what colour linens get used on the tables etc? Maybe ask him what he wants to be involved in and then do the rest yourself. Good luck to you. I'm sure that you can work through this if you are open and honest.
I just got married this last May and we started to fight alot right befor the wedding. We started to question our relationship among other things, but let me tell you I am so glad we decided to go ahead with things because after it is all said and done we are more in love than we were when we met. For us it was just a lot of stress and the same old conversations over and over about planning. I hope everything goes well for you, Best Wishes!
We are getting married June 20th this year. FH and I have been together 2 years and have never had one single arguement. But these days it's hard to keep the peace with all the stress that comes along with planning a wedding. I just keep telling myself I have less than 3 weeks left and then I will never have to do this ever again. Thank goodness!!! We are going to take a nice little 2 day mini honeymoon and everything will go back to normal.
