This has been the biggest problem so far in the planning :) Were having a very different wedding, the bridesmaids will be in floor length black dresses with full skirts and a thin ribbon belt with a bow on the front in pink. My flowers are pink roses, and were using LOTS of candles, but I have no idea what the groomsmen should wear. We have all agreed on no tuxes... One of the men suggested black dress pants and black dress shirt with a pink tie. Im not sure if that would be to 'feminine' or if it would look funny? Any suggestions will be VERY appreciated! Thanks!!!
What if the groomsmen were to wear all black suits, including the shirt, with a pink tie and a pink rose bouttineire (sorry, I have no idea how to spell that), and the groom wear a black suit with a white shirt and pink tie.... Not sure if that might be too much black though....
Actually, I agree with Jess.... Black is a funeral color. Im honestly not trying to start anything or hurt anyones feelings, but if it isnt too late I would seriously consider changing things Ashlie....

Choose whatever color's you like.
I have known many weddings that have had black.
It depends on how well the other colors coordinate and how you present everything. I think black slacks and black shirt with pink ties would look just fine, or the black suit with pink ties.
Either way, it's your wedding!!!! Good luck in whatever you choose.
Thanks for all the helpful posts, I know it seemed like a kind of silly question, but it was something I was having a really hard time with :) We decided the groomsmen will be in all black suits with pink ties and Sean (my fiance) will wear a black suit with a white shirt and a pink tie, then they will all have a pink rose.
Black is very acceptable these days for wedding colors. You want to make sure that your groomsmen match the formality that you set with your dress, your FH outfit and your bridesmaids. It really won't look right if everyone but the men are dressed ultra formal, or if the rest of the affair is formal. What color is your dress? I'd match the shirt they wear to your dress color with the pink in the tie and Boutinnere (oops SP.)
