I was thinking about a Nascar theme wedding. My finance loves nascar especially the Earnharts. Has anyone done anything with Nascar in their wedding before? Let me know of some ideas that I could use. Thanks!
I am currently working on several NASCAR Theme wedding items.
For one couple I am doing glasses as favors and they each have their favorite drivers hoods on them and then others I am doing their drivers cars on them.
For another I am doing toasting flutes and floating candle bowls in a checkered flag theme.
I am also working on some samples for a gal who is doing a Dale Earnhardt Sr. Wedding.
I am, and i am making it all myself to save cost... We are on a limited budget and were told that there is no such thing as a nascar theme wedding... Well i am proving that one wrong. You can email me if you like.

I am having a nascar themed reception for my wedding in june 2006. I am going to have actual racing tires sitting in front of the head table and cake table. We have even thought about getting one of those driver cardboard cutouts to stand at the doorway to the reception with a sign welcoming guests to our reception. We have even discussed black and white candles tied with checkered ribbon and instead of throwing rice or using bubbles, we think waving little green or checkered flags to be more fitting. I read your post on Party Pop. I have been getting a lot of orders lately for NASCAR items for weddings.
I am doing rock glasses for one couple with the hoods of their favorite drivers, another for a Dale Earnhardt Sr. And yet another with Checkered Flag flutes and pilsners and floating candle bowls.
