My fiance and I are planning on having a Cinderella Wedding. I have been looking all over the internet for decoration ideas and cake toppers. Does anyone have any ideas?
Disney has a cake topper of cinderella, along with the caraige and other items you can use.

I had a cinderella themed wedding last year. I had the cake topper from Disney, the flute glass with cindrella and prince charming (you cant find the one i have any where) the cake knife and server (which is impossible to find) gave to my mom aunts grandma and new mother inlaw cinderlla hankerchiefs, castle card box, white chocolate castle ( i sused instead of eating the horrible cake a year later) and the final touches cinderella and prince charming vaces which are impossible to find which i still have plenty. Just keep your eyes open! For example the Disney catalog showed a pillow with cinderella's slipper on it that would be used in a little girl's room, I bought it and am going to use it for my ring pillow! P.S. You can get the Cinderella and Prince Charming flutes in Disney Land, if you can make a trip or know anyone who is gonig there, you can pick them up.

In one of the Wilton Wedding Books, there is a cake that has a Castle on top. With that type of cake, I would suggest some candle centerpieces along the side of the cake with flowers. What are your colors going to be?

I shopped on ebay and ordered ceramic gold and silver carriages (little boxes with lids) as bridesmaid favors and tons of 3x2inch plastic "glass" slippers to set out on the tables with m&m's in them. We ordered a red velvet cake with iced-on vines and doors and clear plastic tubes filled with red tulle topped with icecream cones as towers. I sewed one of the slippers onto a pillow I made, added high-heel, tiara, fairy and castle silver charms to the edges, and tied our rings into the shoe. I used my large collection of fairies and castles to decorate. I wore a dress with long, drapey, off-the-shoulder sleeves, large shimmery wings, and my grandmother's tiara. Our wedding was two weeks ago, and turned out wonderfully!

I am also planning a Cinderella (fairy tale) themed wedding. I found a cake lady who is going to make my cake in the shape of a castle, so we have no need for a cake topper. But we are using a crystal carriage. Our cake lady is going to use a fountain in the front of the castle and have a little path way. The carriage will go on there. I also am using glass slippers that I found from a dollar store for center pieces. My mom and I are going to make them. We found canisters that we will be using to hold the slipper at the dollar store also. We are going to decorate the canister and than put the slipper on top. This was a very inexpensive center piece. Also, I found glass slippers for me and all my girls to wear for the wedding. You can find those almost anywhere. If you type in cinderella wedding under search on the website, you can find almost anything for a cinderella themed wedding. My cake lady had a picture of a carriage card box that I am going to try and find. I also found beautiful castle invitations that were embossed.

I have many many items in the ciderella theme if anyone is interested just get in touch with me directly. You have nothing to lose. I'm sure that a lot of the items that I have are not the norm and I have not seen on Ebay as many of the brides have instructed others to do. The items that I get are better in taste and in quality.

I have found many glass slippers on ebay for a really good price. They are brand new and look very nice. I also found a guest book with a carriage on it and the pen was also included. The pen was on a stand and the stand had a glass slipper on it. I also found a ring bearers pillow with a glass slipper on it on ebay. E-bay is a good place to look for cinderella wedding decorations, etc. Just type Cinderella wedding in the search area and you'll see many things there. At Burlington coat factory, CT or stores like Marshalls etc..(Filenes, Macy's too) They sell mini ceramic shoes of all colors, sizes, and designs. They are very cute. If you bought several different ones and placed them about the layers of your cake it would be very symbolic and colorful, yet tasteful on a plain tiered cake. Any ideas for a carnival theme? We have an actual, functional merry -go -round in our hall.ood luck,

For the center of each table, make a pillow and go to www.bridalpeople.com and for $4.95 you can get a glass slipper to place on the pillow for your table center. Also get some long material for you to walk down, and paint or glue material for it to say "And They Lived Happily Ever After"! And also you could get two guys to rent a prince outfit to stand at the door to welcome everyone as they enter.
