I was thinking about a Nascar theme wedding. My finance loves nascar especially the Earnharts. Has anyone done anything with Nascar in their wedding before? Let me know of some ideas that I could use. Thanks!
Hi, being big NASCAR fans (especially the Earnhardts) we made nascar invitations, our favors were mini hershey bars with steering wheels on the front one a normal steering wheel, entwined with a solitaire "steering wheel" on the back was our names and a 3 and an 8. My pew markers were white and red with checkered flags for the middle. Our glasses had checkered flags engraved on them. Our ring bearer wore a black tuxedo with a vest and tie made out of Earnhardt material. My brother being a graphic designer made our invitations, we had a humorous verse starting with "we're done going around in circles, we've made it to the last lap without hitting the wall.... Then at the end it was "the victory lap will be held at "enter your church here. Our favors also included various things tied with nascar ribbon. We own 2 Monte Carlo SS's one the intimadator and 1 the Dale Jr. Legacy car, so all our pictures with our wedding party were by the cars. Our thank you cards were these pictures. Our archway entering the reception site was covered with glass 3's and 8's, that we had made by a local vendor. Our cake was a normal cake, but we had a race track around the bottom of the grooms cake. I hope I've given you some ideas, we had more Nascar items, and let me tell you that here in Nova Scotia it was quite difficult finding many of these things, but I started sending away for much of it early.
