I was thinking about a Nascar theme wedding. My finance loves nascar especially the Earnharts. Has anyone done anything with Nascar in their wedding before? Let me know of some ideas that I could use. Thanks!

LOVE the UPS box w/ m&ms idea! ;o) Our wedding is December 3, 2005, and we're also using the NASCAR theme. Our table centerpieces are model NEXTEL cup cars, each w/ a different driver's #, which we will be using instead of traditional table #'s. We made most of the decals customized w/ our names and wedding date on them. They sit on a model turntable, which lights up and rotates. For our favors, I bought candy molds in the shape of stock cars, and made each guest a chocalate car, wrapped in tulle. Instead of a wishing well, or decorative card box for the gift table, we bought a used race tire at MIS this summer, and my fiance is making it into a card holder. Please e-mail me for pics. :o)
We are having a nascar themed wedding as well but the kicker is we are in canada, and its IMPOSSIBLE to find nascar stuff here, HELP!

Despite what some comments have been..Sport themed weddings are very common. Nascar happens to fall into the Sport them. I have a really cool picture of a Nascar themed wedding cake, If anyone would like to have me email them the picture...just send me your email.
I got married on 4/22/06 and had a Nascar theme wedding reception. I had a lot of compliments on the decorations and such. A lot of people said it was one of the best wedding receptions/dances they've gone to as it had such a laid back feel. Here are some things I had:
1) Dale Earnhardt Sr cake from Racecakes.com
2) Jell-o Giggler race cars (from the molds)
3) checker table cloths (with some red ones)
4) checker flag pennants hanging on walls.
5) red, black and white balloons
6) cupcakes - vanilla and chocolate in the aluminum cups - vanilla and chocolate frosting with a checker flag toothpick poking out the top. (HUGE HIT)
7) centerpieces were 2 flags sticking out of a styrofoam ball, set on a color of a race flag sheet of paper, with miniature chocolate Nascar cars around the base.
8) REAL side panel of m favorite dirt track race car driver
