Help! I have been trying to get married for 2 years. Everytime we get the money saved something happens. Now we decided on justice of the peace.. Does anyone have any info on this for southwest mi. Please need help!

I would suggest you start by checking with your town or city hall(in the town/city you plan to marry in). If they can't help you, they should be able to point you in the right direction. You'll probably have to be in touch with them for the marriage license anyway.

I"m in battle creek MI if you are close to here or willing to travel here the church I go to does not charge to marry people. We have a kitchen & hall you could also use for the reception. I have many decorations & would be glad to decorate for free.
Having a wedding can be expensive, even if you try to have a simple one. You can do the justice of the peace wedding and maybe have a simple, but nice reception. This is where you and your future husband can do yall first dance and acknowledge other special people in yall lives. Are maybe you could just save up for a honeymoon instead of having a wedding, reception, and honeymoon.
