Bought my Maggie Sottero wedding dress, but unfortunately fell in love with a dress by Judd Waddell! It's style #003, white strapless with ivory streams and I need it in a size 14 or 16. I'm brokenhearted, and feel really really stupid for obviously buying too early, but have rationalized that I can buy this dress if I can get it cheap. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Please let me know if you found a resource for less expensive Judd Waddell gowns. I fell in love with one yesterday and absolutely have to have this gown!
I actually have encountered a problem with the judd waddell dress and i need your help. Did you ever see the actual dress in person. I recently purchased the 003 gown from a truck show. I ordered the dress and i just received the dress in. The dress brought in had the same front but the back o f it was totally different than the one i saw in the truck show. I have argued with my bridal gown compnay and now i have the feeling that i'm going to get stuck with a dress that didn't order. Please e-mail me back if you have ever seen the back of hte dress. I have fallen in love with a Judd Waddel gown and unfortunately it happens to be one of the most expensive in his line. Does anyonw know of a good resource for samples sales in the Boston area?
Chris- Vows in Newton is the major samples gown outlet in the area. Don't know how much Waddell they have, but it's a good place to pick up a cheap designer dress.
Oh my gosh! Today I just tried on & purchased the style #003 Judd Waddell gown. I special ordered mine because I wanted one in satin that was all white. Now I am worried that the back will be different from the sample that I tried on in the store. The back of the dress in the store had a streamer type piece of satin which you could loop through the back or remove & wear the dress without the streamer. What did the back of the dress that you special ordered look like, Candi? I cried at the store when they made me order a size 12 & now I am going to be worried sick that my dress won't look like the one I tried on. Help!?!?!
Can someone describe the #003 style to me. I've tried on a Judd Waddell that I am thinking of purchasing; and I'm wondering if it is the same one. Thanks!
Wedding dress sizes have nothing to do with what size you actually wear. They make them up, randomly. I am not even sure they really get larger with as the numbers go up.
Congratulations to all the brides on this site who had to order a dress with a number 2X higher than your normal size. Hope your days are wonderful!
I would like to sell my Judd Waddell, however I'm not sure of the style number. It is a size 14 though! It is strapless with very delicate, beautiful beadwork (crystal beads) on the top, with a drop waist. Does this sound like the one you're looking for?
I fell in love with it and against my better judgement (and budget) paid the $2200 for it! I have not regrets. It was perfect! I was married on June 14th. The dress has been drycleaned and is in perfect condition.

Actually I'm also in GR and just got back from paying a 2nd visit to my dream dress at Bridal Elegance in Cascade--it's a Judd Waddell too (I think the one all the ladies are talking about here).
