Hi, im planning my wedding for june of 07, and i want a cinderella wedding, right now i have the glass slippers and we are thinking about making the centerpieces out of pumpkins for the carriages.. If anybody has any ideas please let me know, i could use the help
I don't know if you want to wait but I am a planner and during halloween they sell those clear plastic or glass pumpkins if you're on a tight budget or if you have a little more to spend carriages and castles they are also made of blown glass.
I also wanted to let everybody know of this great website called InvitationsbyDawn.com. They have something for everybody there. Including Cinderella stuff. They have free samples and free catalogs. I have a book, but i just sent for a free sample of a cinderella invitation. Prices arent that bad either, so if u want check it out...
I think that Marlo has a wonderful idea and since you are not getting married until 07, you can wait until after Halloween and get the items for your centerpieces because they have all types of sales during and after the holiday. You don't have to wait for items to be picked over, they do have wonderful sales before and during and many craft stores will have idea instructions for you that you can decorate your wedding with.
Go on ebay !! they have tons of stuff like glass, silver, or gold horse drawn carriages and they aren't expensive. Also i like the pumpkin idea. Think about spray painting them gold or silver or glittery or even use the white ones. You could send out scrolls for your invitations or save the dates. Also you can get the song that they dance to in the movie for you first dance. Ok maybe im going overboard but its your wedding have fun !
OK... Im in need of some help! My maid of honor doesnt seem interested in helping me plan my wedding.. She says youve got time, youve got time when its almost a year away... I dont want to wait till the last minute to make decisions.. Am i in the wrong?????? cause im starting to think i made a bad decision on picking my wedding party...
