I am really torn on how to wear my hair for my August 2008 wedding. I have long, thick brunette hair that I am always getting compliments on when I wear it down with its natural wave/curl. However, I am worried that if I wear it down or partly down it will be horrible or really hot by the time the reception is started. I don't mind my hair up it always looks nice up but I guess part of me loves my hair down and I know my fiancee loves it down best....how have most people worn there hair??
Hi, My best friend married in very hot whether and had similar concerns . Her style was really perfect . She curled her hair from the roots to tips for body, then bobby pinned her hair into a medium height vertical ponytail which made it look full and long. Then she bobbypinned curls around to cover the pins holding her hair up so it didn't look like a ponytail but a cascading jumble of curls. Very grecian. It kept her neck cool while giving the appearance of being partly down.

That sounds perfect!!!! Especially since the bride maid dresses I am likely going with have a Grecian feel to them. I remember when my sister tried hers on I called her a Greek Goddess lol!!! Now I have a question since I understand what your talking about but I can't find a picture to have others look at it. Do you think you could email me a pic of her with her hair done??? I understand if not I just want a clear picture that I can't seem to find on the internet. If you can I could give you my email.
I have a similar situation; my hair is also how you described. I'm also brunette and always get compliments on my hair down as well. I plan to wear my hair for my wedding next May half up, half down.
