I am not a happy bride when it came to visiting the Costa Mesa, CA and the Santa Ana, CA store and was VERY upset to find that after making an appt to view dresses and expect customer service when I arrived at the store, no one greeted me at all. As well, I waited well over an hour after my appt was made and other brides shopping in the store said Good Luck getting someone to even ask if you need help. Needless to say, I am passing the word in a wide network of what would have been potential customers to say that David's Bridal does NOT employ corteous and attentive employees. NEVER would I want to shop there and a bride should feel like a PRINCESS, let alone at least a normal customer.
I had a horrible experience at Davids bridal in Manchester,CT.I had gone to a well organized bridal shop the same morning and was thrilled with the one on one attention i received, so since i was on a roll of looking at dresses we decided to go to Davids Bridal. I will never go back. I went in and asked if i was able to try on dresses and the lady at the counter said we have time to put you in. The young girl named BRITTANY, came up to us and was acting like she was gods gift. She asked me if i wanted bridesmaids or Bridal Gowns i told her both and she said since your wedding is so far away, there is no since in going to look at dresses since they will just discontinue, ok thats fine, so then she told me to go find shoes sit down and go threw the book at chose all the dresses that i liked, 10 minutes later she came back up to me and was like ok, and then another 5 minutes later she came back with ONE DRESS. She threw it in the room and then left, so i thought alright i will go put it on, she came back 5 minutes later and said WOW your 3 step ahead of me, Well duh, you were gone for 5 minutes. So i walked out the room to go show my family, i turn around to tell her no not what i like she was gone and working with another lady, so she left me standing in a dress i hate for 5 minutes while she went and brought back the other lady about 10 dresses and was oohing and ahhh over how beautiful she was. Then she went in the room with her and came back out (mind you im still in the first dress) and looked at her again. She then went to go get more dresses and came back with ONE dresses for me again. Then she says what did the other dress you liked at the past place look like i go to go tell her she is GONE, and helping the other lady. Now here is where i got MAD. She comes back with another dress after leaving me there in another dress for 5-8 minutes she says "I saw you guys were getting impatient so i just grabbed you a size bigger". DID SHE JUST CALL THE CUSTOMER IMPATIENT! After that i went into the room and changed, i left and said bye and she said"SORRY I COULDN'T HELP YOU". The mistake i made was that i didn't go to the customer service desk, or say something to her face, she was so rude and i will never go back or recommend Davids Bridal to anyone.
