I am not a happy bride when it came to visiting the Costa Mesa, CA and the Santa Ana, CA store and was VERY upset to find that after making an appt to view dresses and expect customer service when I arrived at the store, no one greeted me at all. As well, I waited well over an hour after my appt was made and other brides shopping in the store said Good Luck getting someone to even ask if you need help. Needless to say, I am passing the word in a wide network of what would have been potential customers to say that David's Bridal does NOT employ corteous and attentive employees. NEVER would I want to shop there and a bride should feel like a PRINCESS, let alone at least a normal customer.
1st. Some people should NOT be working there. If u hate it leave, point blank.
2nd some people dont need to shop there! if u want custom colors in dresses that dont come in that color.... Dont shop there we have what we have there is NO way we are going to make YOU a special order. SORRY go spend more money elsewhere for that, seriously yes your a bride but you dont get everything you want!
3rd alterations are separate from consultants, alterations is the worst part thats why i recomennd my customers get multiple quotes
4th you can basically get anything you want from the manager if you say you will contact HOME OFFICE they are not the end of the line, they do have to answer to someone.
5th when you talk to someone, write down their NAME!! the reason why some people are "Comission minded" is because customers have NO sense of loyalty when they return to the store
6th WE ARE TIRED! all day we stand, smile, carry heavy dresses, organize a store inw hich no one knows the concept of putting dresses BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM. Not on a random rack!
7th there are policies that consultants must stick to therefore if someone tries to give you a break TAKE IT! 8th goto the biggest store in teh region for the better service because the better managers and employees work there, bad ones just cant cut it.
I personally take pride when i find someone the perfect dress, wedding prom bridesmaids whatever if your happy im happy
