I am selling my mermaid Oleg Cassini dress - ivory, worn once for my wedding in Sept 2009 for a few hours. It is the most beautiful dress on the planet - both classic with its quality lace, and modern with its mermaid silhouette. It adds curves if you need them & elongates the body if you're too curvy. I got so many compliments it's ridiculous! Def worth the the $1200 I spent (I paid fo minimal alterations to make it more "mermaid-y" and a French bustle too, original price was $1050 without tax).
The dress is a sz. 2, I usually wear 2 or 4 street sz so it is definitely NOT smaller than 2 I don't think. It was taken in just a bit to accentuate the trumpet look but nothing was cut off the dress so it can be taken out if you have fuller hips. I am not sure this helps but I am 5'3" & wore super high heels so I didn't have to have it hemmed; I weigh 110-115 lbs and my measurements are about 34D-27-36. As you can see from the pictures, the dress fit like a glove but it can be taken out. It is ivory intricate lace, in excellent condition, there are just a few light dirt marks underneath from walking down the isle - can be cleaned super easily.
