I need to know what to write on the reply card for the reception. I am not going to attend.
The card looks as follows:
The favour of a reply is requested on or November 1, 2003.

___________persons will attend.
Hmmm, I've usually seen them with "___will attend" or with deepest regrets will not be able to attend. I would probably write out my name, then put a zero in the space for amount attending. You could even write that you regret having to miss such a special event....somewhere at the bottom.
If you'd like to do it the old-fashioned way, you could turn the card over (or use a notecard of your own) and write, "Ms. Your Name Here (sorry, forgot your name already) regrets that she will be unable to attend Jack and Jill's wedding on December 15th." and then you could put something a little more personal below that.
