Im getting married in jan 2004 and im doing a winter wonderland theme. Im using all white flowers in tall glass vases with crinkled up cellophane that looks like ice. Im also doing lots of white birch trees with twinkle lights and im having tables that are named with winter themes. I have lots of ideas if anyone needs any
Good Deal on the winter weddings. I too am planning a winter wedding (ever since I was a little girl)....
Anyways....here is my 2 cents worth with some of my ideas I have been gathering. My colours are navy and silver/silver blue
Using christmas trees throughout reception with faux snow sprinkled on them with white lights.
Spray painting "stubby" pine cones silver or what ever colour and using them for place card holders.
Homemade wine glass candles for the tables with ceramic snow/frosted on the edges
But the best so far (for me) is my cake design. I found it years ago and it is gorgeous winter theme of a winter mountain and the bride and groom are in sleigh (has pine trees and looks like it is snow covered)...even has sleigh trail on it :-)
Have you thought about using the winter greens? Like lantern cedar or pine? Holly is great also.. If you like candle light, it would give a nice glow. If you like any more ideas feel free to email me
