Im having a kind of 'dramatic' theme for my wedding. The colours are red and gold, and theres going to be alot of candles. Other then that all i know so far is that the bridesmaid dresses will be very dark red, and that the cake is gold and white.
ANY ideas will be very appreciated!!!!!!

We are using lots of candles, too. We are getting married on valentines day, and our colors are red and ivory.
We are creating a "candle-scape" with votives and different height candles at the front of the church. We are going to vary the height also by covering/stacking crates and boxes with fabric or sheetts. As a matter of fact, we got this idea from enjoying our Christmas Eve service so much at church, where my fiance is the worship leader.
Our stage/altar is rounded on the sides. We are thinking of lining this area with votives, as well, and draping tulle with little white lights tucked inside. We are using red roses only, and will tuck roses between the votives.
We have two small columns, and are placing 2 dozen roses in vases on each.
There are about 5 steps leading up to the stage, and we cannot place candles there, but on the edges of the stairs we will place a vase with a single red rose.
Have you heard of the Rose Ceremony? We are going to have that as part of our ceremony instead of the Unity Candle. Both of our mothers are deceased, so we wanted to do something different....
