I am interested in having a 'ganster/mobster' theme wedding with the pin stripe suits and all. We are not interested in having a church wedding, rather we would like to create our own little setting on a nice piece of land. Do you have any suggestions as to what to wear for the bride and groom as well as the bridesmaids and groomsmen? Secondly, do you have any suggestions as to what the fashion and setting was like back then? What could we design that would resemble the 'ganster/mobster' era? (what year is it anyway~the 40's???)

If any one is still out there I need ideas on the girls outfits for this type of wedding, We are not too fond of the ones we have found. There will be two tennage girls involved. Pics would be great. Thank you!
A 1940's style wedding would be fine. A "gangster" theme, however, would be in poor taste. This seems to glorify the violent mob life of gangsters. Its not cute at all.
Let me refrase a little, the whole wedding is not this just the outfits for the men and women in the wedding. I dont see any harm in that at all. The era was very interesting. Thank you all for the feedback. It is greatly appreciated.
