I am helping throw a bridal shower for my brother- in-law. I am in charge of buying and doing the games and prizes. The decorations, and bringing plates, napkins, cups and silverware. The shower is being held out of town (3 hours away) My husband and I have 2, 15 month old twins and a 12 year old son. While we are getting ready for this shower and the whole time of the shower, my husband and his brother are going to be fishing. He feels that I should take the twins with me to the shower because there will be enough people to watch the kids while I help out with the shower. I feel this isn't fair. I think he should watch the kids till the shower is over then he can drop them off and go fishing. He thinks I am being unfair. Am I wrong?
No you are not wrong. Your husband should watch the children. Last i knew kids didn't attend showers. I always thought they were for adults. Your husband is being very unfair. Either your husband should watch your children or you both can find a sitter. Hope you find a solution thats best for all.
