One of Houston’s most successful R&B/smooth jazz bands. Led by recording artist Gary-Michael Dahl who is lead vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter. The G-MD Band is extremely versatile and can perform R&B, jazz, Top-40, rock, latin, reggae, standards, zydeco and outstanding original material.

Performed at many of Houston’s largest events including: International Festival, Houston Livestock & Rodeo, Galveston Mardi Gras with Otis Day &the Nights, Party On the Plaza, Jazz on the Plaza, Houston Noon Concert Series with SUNNY 99.1, and many more.

Band or members have performed with or opened for: Peabo Bryson, Phil Collins, The Drifters, The Platters, Curtis Mayfield, Johnny Tayor, Norman Brown, Hubert Laws, Freddie Hubbard, David "Fathead" Newman, Wilton Felder, Bo Williams.

Performed for the Houston Rockets, Houston Texans, President George Bush, Mayors Lee Brown, Bob Lanier, and Kathy Whitmire. Concerts with SUNNY 99.1, KHJZ 95.7 Smooth Jazz, MAGIC 102, KRBE 104, Donna Mackenzie (Z107), Stevens & Pruett (KLOL 101), John Landers (93Q), NASA, Walt Disney, and more. Local and national TV appearances.
