I come from a wide music background, but most profoundly I am a bagpiper. Over the past ten years that I have been playing I have become an accomplished grade four piper. I have studied under some of the most world-renowned teachers of the art. Though I play many solo performances I am a very avid member of the Feadan Or Pipe Band and the Rochester Scottish Pipe Band. I have also had the opportunity to take in a number of students of my own. With ten years of experience I have appeared in numerous weddings, Highland Games, Radio stations, American Cancer Society events, Batmitzvahs and even birthday parties. I am very anxious to continue piping for any and all events that may come my way.

What I Do

There are some typical places in the ceremony where piping is often performed. You can choose any or all of these options.

1. Playing as the Wedding Party enters. 2. Play as the Bride comes up the aisle. (Processional) 3. Play during Communion. 4. Play as the Bride and Groom go down the aisle. (Recessional) 5. Play outside the church (weather permitting) as the congregation exits.

Occasionally, people request piping prior to the service as the congregation is arriving. This is certainly fine, particularly when you do not plan to have piping during the service. If you plan to have the Bride piped in, it's probably best not to have any piping prior to that, in order to maximize the impact of hearing the pipes for the first time.
