Yasmina - Belly Dancers
Yasmina offers Belly Dancing for any event in all of British Columbia.

BIO

Yasmina began her dance studies at age 5 with ballet, and continued with jazz and modern dance. She became enchanted with belly dance at the age of 14, and began her training in belly dance in 1995. She has performed over 1500 shows in the last 7 years.

Yasmina's experience with Indian music and dance began in Varanasi, India, where she studied the tabla with Pandit Kishan Maharaj and Pandit Prakash Maharaj. She then continued her studies with Sukshinder Shinda, and has toured playing tabla with Jazzy B. and Shinda.

Since then, Yasmina has performed dance on stage with Bollywood stars Sunidhi Chohan and KK. She has performed internationally in the U.K. and in Trinidad.

Yasmina currently performs 20-30 shows a month at various venues in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland.

YASMINA DANCE PRODUCTIONS:

Various performances are available for wedding, engagement, anniversary receptions, birthday and retirement parties, special events and corporate functions.

Performances can include any of the following:
-Arabic, Hindi, and/or Panjabi music and dance
-Choreography's and/or audience participation
-Egyptian, Turkish or Indian costumes.
-swords, veils, candles, Isis wings.

Yasmina's solo show:
Yasmina's solo show is very popular. It has been enlivening parties and events for over 7 years!

The Aziz and Yasmina show:
Vancouver's only male and female bellydance show, includes fire dancing!

Yasmina Dance Company:
This award-winning dance company has performed over 50 shows since it was founded in March 2008. Book a duo, trio, or group of up to 6 dancers to amaze and astound your audience!

Panjabi duo show :
Acting and bhangra dancing skit performed by Gursevik and Yasmina. Very entertaining, and perfect for traditional Panjabi receptions and gatherings.

Mini Workshop:
Book Yasmina for your birthday party, bridal shower or stagette, and receive a performance and/or a workshop! Coin Scarves and Veils available for use. Great for Children and Teen Parties as well!
