My name is David Hortop. You may have never heard of me and that`s O.K.

I`m No Sales Superstar, or corporate bigwig.

In fact I am just the opposite, I`m just your average Yorkshire person trying to give Personalized Chocolate bars for all your Special Occasions.

A retired tool-maker from Sheffield has found success in a unique and remarkable career change.

I retired in April 2005 at 65 and I decide to design some chocolate bar wrappers for something different to give the children when they came knocking at Halloween.

The children`s parents got hold of them and wanted some for Christmas and it just went mad, people asking me to design personalized wrappers.

Dave started his new business in October 2005 and now designs chocolate bars wrappers for a wide range of occasions.

First I though of weddings, Birthdays and birth announcements but since then it has expanded to a much wider field.

I now get orders from business, promotions, conferences, functions, graduations and trade shows.

Personalized chocolate bars are actually personalized wrappers with a message printed on the outside of the bar. I can put peoples photo`s or company logo on the wrapper and personalise it that way.

Dave runs his business from premises in Dronfield and his trade comes mainly through advertising, word of mouth and shows.
