Planning a wedding, reception, luncheon, or other event in the Colorado Springs or Denver areas? Say hello to the Mock-Up Studios String Quartet (MUSSQ)!

MUSSQ is a group of string players (violin, viola, cello, bass) who rent themselves out to the masses. That means you don't have to hire the entire group for your function. You have your choice of ensembles, from a violin/cello duo to a trio featuring electric bass. Carrie even offers herself up as a vocal soloist for special songs and unity candle-lighting accompaniment.

The details are simple. To hire and plan is $50. For the actual event, pricing is $50/musician/hour. That means a string duo for a wedding ceremony is only $150! That price simply does not exist elsewhere.

Weddings
Trust me with your learning curve! Until now you hadn't had to know the difference between a postlude and a processional.You might have also been planning on just having a friend push a button on an mp3 player once you've finished your gorgeous trot up the aisle. This is a bad idea. Always use live musicians for the ceremony and a DJ for the reception. Trust me. I've been doing this for a while.
