Re: Free 2-Nights At Viva Res From Royal Pres

Just wanted to toss my few cents in there..

We got a call from these guys not long after attending a bridal show. We were both skeptical, having been through the time share presentations and such in the past. We went and saw the show, (two other couples were also there), were impressed by the quality of the cookware, cutlery, and the "break-proof" place settings (he tossed a dinner plate across the room, it hit the floor hard, and didn`t break) - not to mention the food (which they did cook right in front of us).

We did some quite figures, and decided we`d go for it.. Not caring about the whole vacation thing (remember, we`ve got our time share for that). We did, and I think overall, we`ve been really impressed. When the stuff arrived a couple weeks later, the first thing I did was the "toss the plate across the room test" - it passed with flying colors. It`s also survived every time I`ve demonstrated for my friends - I love scaring them to death! I`m tired of running low on plates, or having mix-and-matched sets because so many have broken. I hate throwing away that money on dishes every couple of years, just because we have a lot of careless kids and teenagers. Thankfully, those days are over.

We haven`t done the vacation yet.. I`m sure we will soon.

It`s expensive, definitely not something to jump into if you don`t have the extra $60-$80 a month. But I can`t say I`ve read any complaints about the cookware itself. I was raised on the theory that you pay what you get for.. In this case, I think we`ve bought some high-quality, durable cookware and place settings that might even have a chance of lasting the rest of our lives.

What should you do? Go and see for yourself. Yeah, the sales people are trained well.. They`ll push all the right buttons (and I guess it worked on us). But even now, after spending all that money, I don`t have any regrets - I like what I bought.

Believe it or not, other than having purchased this stuff, I am not related in any way, shape, or form with Royal Prestige or any of it`s subsidiaries or parent companies (or any business partners, vacation companies, or whatever the hell else you might try and toss my way).

Of course, most of you don`t really care what I say, and there`s nothing I can do to prove it other than invite you over for dinner. There`s some real negative comments on this board, and I think it`s sad you feel you have to take your aggressions out on the few people on here who have had good experiences with this company. There are people online who aren`t lying.

My fiancee and i got offered this today. At first we were excited, but after reading all this terrible stuff on the net about royal prestige, we`re obviously not going. Thanks for all the stories!

I also received the same phone call and offer and was just as skeptical as everyone else. After reading most of the messages on this website and a few from other message boards, I decided to take my chances. Just to be extra safe I looked up my state government`s laws about gifts and prizes, Royal Prestige was following my state`s laws. So my boyfriend and I went to the hotel where the demonstration was being held. We arrived about 15 minutes late and were informed that the room was full and that we didn`t have to stay for the presentation. The Royal Prestige representative gave us the voucher for the resort and the $500 gift certificate and then we just drove back home. Later on we went online to see if they were both valid and they are. The pros are obvious (trip and "free" money). The cons are the following: we have to pay for our own roundtrip airfare, the website for the gift certificate has limited and outdated items, and you have to pay some sort of fee (not related to S & H) for the purchases you`re making. That website sounds alittle weird, but the trip is totally real and we can`t wait to go. We haven`t picked a date yet but I`ll write back after we redeem the voucher. Good luck to everyone else!

Re: Free 2-Nights At Viva Res From Royal Prest

My fiancé and I were unfortunately dumb enough to buy into the scam... Along with every other couple that attended the presentation with us.

The "unconditional" warranty... It`s conditional, just as all other cookware.

We watched the DVD, read the manual, used the cookbook-food didn`t cook properly, stuck to the pans, and was nothing like the presentation (let me mention the presenter is also a professional chef).

When the pots and pans were washed, they left marks, they didn`t clean easily, and it was just a nightmare. We even followed the directions word for word.

I am warning EVERYBODY out there... Do NOT buy into this SCAM! This cookware is disastrous and full of head aches. Save yourself from years of bankrupcy... And go back to your regular suppliers.

Table Charm - your product SUCKS.

Oh, and on another note... We never received our "free cruise" or bridal registry package that was promised.

Re: Free 2-Nights At Viva Res From Royal Prest

I have Buyers Remorse! i am completly saddened for people that were completly TRICKED into believeing these people. I have a similar story first i got a phone call then i went to this 2hr presentation, bought the overpriced product thinking it was better for our health and our 9month old daughter. I feel so betrayed and tricked into this HORRIBLE product. The trip is a scam, the grocery money is a SCAM and im stuck with these monthly payments that i can`t be late on because they charge LATE FEES up the A$$. I just want this to spread and reach other people that are young and just starting out. They have a specific crowd "young minded newlywed couples" who don`t have a chance to even kno better. This ROYAL PRESTIGE should be ashamed of themselves for CON-ing people. I HATE that i am a victim of this. "P.S THE POTS BURN AND DON`T EVEN WORK RIGHT, some people say well your not using them right blah blah blah My step brother is a Top Chef for the United States Marines he was Disgusted by the product"
