Cinderella Wedding Theme

Just wondering if anyone has a picture or recipe of the Little Mice Truffles for a Cinderella wedding theme, and any ideas to add for the reception.

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

I am also having a cinderella wedding; I got a blown glass horse & carriage from Bridesvillage.com, and some slipper favors. They have a little section for Cinderella themes; hope this helps!

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

Great theme!
I say sit down with the Disney movie and watch for ideas look for something not as typical. Maybe magicwands and fairy dust. There are a thousand things you could do with fairy / magic /and wishes. Be sure to use creative words in all you do. Maybe instead of the garter tradition your prince charming could have you try on the slipper before your first dance...
Hope it is magical!

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

I had a friend that handed out little chocolate mice at Christmas time. You get The Keeble graham crackers that are coated in chocolate, then you dip a stemmed marachino cherry in melted chocolate(using the stem as the mouse tail. While the chocolate is still soft put a heshey kiss on the front of the cherry, the bottom of the hershey kiss should be touching the front of the cherry so that the top of the hershey kiss is the mouses nose. Place both on the graham cracker. Now you have your basic mouse. Take almond sliver and dip the end of those in the melted chocolate and place behind the hershey kiss, but in front of the cherry. These are the ears. Take a small tipped tube of icing and put a red or pink nose on the end of the hershey kiss. The guy that did ours put green eyes on his mice, but for your occasion I think blue eyes would be cute. You do the eyes the same way that you do the nose and apply them on the hershey kiss. When you originally placed the hershey kiss on the graham cracker, it should be laying on its side so the that the mouse tail and the mouses nice are directly opposite of each other. I hope this helps you out. I think it is a really cute idea. Have fun with it.

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

How could there posibly be a cinderella wedding theme when the only part of the wedding in the movie was cinderella and the prince running down the steps with mice throwing plates at them?

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

We`re thinking of having a Cinderella theme too. It might help for you to look on Ebay for special things to use or for ideas. I know I `ve seen lots of stuff on there for the fraction of the price from a store. Invitations, favors, cake toppers everything!! Check it out. I hope that helps :o)

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

Go to Pat-t-cakes.com and look at the castle cake. It`s definetely for a Cinderella Wedding, in fact it has Cinderella and her Price on the cake instead of the traditional bride and groom. Good Luck!!

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

Chocolate truffle mice for favors. They have almond halves for ears and are dipped in white and dark chocolate and colored cords for tails. (Roll a ball of truffle and pinch one end for the nose. Add the almonds and dip in chocolate. Pipe eyes and mouth details add tail.)

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

My fiance and I are having a Cinderella themed wedding (we were engaged at Cinderella`s castle in Disney world) and we found several full color cake toppers featuring Cinderella and her Prince. We are using this one http://www.gocollect.com/product_display/products/product_page.asp?id=286&refcode=affiliate-06&AID=5069586&PID=279014, but there are others which can be ordered online or by contacting Disney World Directly. Also, Jennifer`s post regarding shindigz.com is very true. They have a lot of reception decoration ideas.

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

I am doing a cinderella wedding theme also. I might have a couple ideas for you. My girls are going to be carrying wands with flowers around them instead of bouquets. My centerpieces are 12" pendulum clocks (which is perfect because my reception ends at midnight). Lastly, my favors are those little glass slippers and wedding cd`s on the front of the cd`s is a picture of me and my fiance` in front of cinderellas castle. Hope this helps let me know what you think!

Re: Cinderella Wedding Theme

I`m planning a Cinderella wedding in Disney World. I`m going to show up to the wedding in Cinderella`s glass coach with 6 white horses and 3 fully dressed foot men to help me our of the glass coach. I`m also going to have the rings brought up in Cinderella`s glass slipper. Just to do something different than just the normal ring pillow.
