Chocolate And Pink Color Scheme

I am getting married June 06 and also plan on cocoa/choc & pink! I can`t believe I found this message board!? Please let me know where you found a chocolate tux - I totally agree that black is not going to fly with this color scheme. That hint about the ties is awesome, thanks.

Someone was asking about favors...I`m looking at www.sandscripts.com, they have tons of stuff. I`ve been thinking about personalized decks of cards as favors. I don`t think they`ll get thrown away and they can be as personalized as I want, even brown with pink accents if I`m not sick of the colors by the time I`m ready to buy!

The new Martha Stewart Mag has a few pages of chocolate and pink, and I have seen it in a few others as well. I have seen several dresses. My girls will be wearing light pink empire waist gowns with a thin chocolate belt with rhinestone small rectangle buckle. Not sure about the guys yet. I found my invites from William Arthur in their occassions book. Shimmery light pink card stock with same envelope, shimmery bronze liner and ink. Everything about my wedding is our monogram, including our silver and swarovski crystal monogram cake topper jewelry. Chocolate,pink and ivory will be everywhere!! Nothing frilly or lace, simple and elegant

I agree!! I am having a BLAST planning this wedding. I guess since I am going for a feeling and rocking good time, I am pretty open and not super worried about my "vision".

I have also been lucky with things falling into my lap. Most recently today I was getting lunch at New Seasons and right there next to the deli were tons of crazy pink napkins. I got pink with white polka dots, white with hot pink Gerber Daisies, all hot pink Gerbers, and ones that are hot pink with red and gold accents of an indian print. They all go really well and they were 3.99 for packs of 20. I had been thinking about ordering some and stamping them but this is so much better!!

For our groomsmen we had been trying to figure out exactly what to do. The Nordstrom`s half yearly men`s sale came up so my fiance and I went there and got his tie, the groomsmens` and Dads ties at a major savings!.
The groom`s and dads ties are in the lighter pinks with brown accents and the groomsmens are pink with white polka dots, a multi stripe pink tie, and a checkered pink and white tie. The guys will all wear black three button suits, white shirts and I will most likely make matching vests and hankies!

Oh yeah if you don`t already know, the lastest Martha Stewart`s Wedding magazine has pink & brown as well as other good pink combos.

I am using chocolate brown and Pink 10/22/05. I am having the hardest time trying to figure out what the guys are wearing. We are thinking about letting them wear Brown suits. I found some really nice ties at Foleys. But if anyone can help find a Chocolate brown tux. Let me know.

Belle, you can find pink and brown ties on Brooks Brothers.com in the clearance section of ties- they have mostly brown with pink and mostly pink with brown called stain-resistent equestrian. I bought them when they were 60 bucks and now they are 40! they are really lovely.

I found pink and brown ties at Nordstom`s. Also check out 2002ties.com. I think a lot are coming out this fall, I saw some new ones at Nordies after I bought mine that had more brown thenthe previous styles.

I just got married in May. When I start planning my wedding my color scheme was Chocolate Brown and Hot Pink. I searched High and low tryinh to find Brown Tuxes for the guys in our wedding, but with no luck. Good luck on finding them. The guy at the rental place said the are no longer making them he even checked other vendors that they deal with. Hopefully you guys will find something. I had to change my colors to Hot Pink and Silver. And it was just as pretty.

We found pink and brown ties at Jos. A Banks and Brooks Brothers. The Brooks Brothers ties were on sale and look great. We got one for each groomsmen. My fiance will wear the one from Jos A. Banks.

I have noticed a lot of people having problems finding a brown tux to rent. I also havn`t found anywhere to rent one but I did find a website with affordable prices brown suits. I wan`t too sure on brown & pink colors but for a fall oct 06 wedding that seems to be perfect. The only question is, i wonder how the good the girls would look in chocolate brown dresses with the pink calli lilies and reception?

I am also having my wedding October 06. I was thinking of using Black and pink but I wanted something a little different. Plus brown is a fall color.

My wedding is October 14th, 2006 and my colors are latte and pink and I am loving it!! I think they look great together!!

My colors are chocolate vanilla and blush. My dress is ivory and the girls will be wearing a chocolate colored dress with a boquet of blushy pink roses my boquet will be ivory roses with little pink lillies or some type of blush colored flowers. Im stuck when it comes to the guys and the groom. Does anybody have any suggestions?thanks!!
