Wedding Colors
Hi. My mother is getting married sometime around january. I wanted to help her figure out what colors the wedding should be. She dosent want blue because it has to look good with black. I was thinking may be burgundy, but i wanted to get some other ideas. So if you have any ideas they would be much appriciated. Thanx!

Black is a neutral color and can be mixed with almost any color and yes, even with blue (just not dark blue).
Personally, I like the earlier suggestion of jewel tones - especially in winter. If she`s having trouble picking a color, have her look at colors in things around her - what flowers does she like? If she likes red roses - choose red or burgundy. If she likes iris, choose purple. What colors are at the reception hall, like linen choices and wall colors. Inspiration can come from anywhere.

Since you cannot think of any color why not just have a rainbow wedding where each bridesmaid wears a different color it looks really good!! and is different!!!
