My Quinceanera
I am 14 and i am wanting to have a quinceanera. I am full blood mexican and all my aunts and cousins have had one. The only problem is that i am not catholic so i was wondering....Do you "HAVE" to be catholic in order to have a quinceanera? If so...can i still just have the party and not the whole big church mass?

No u dont have to be catholic.u should just have it in a hall .so what religion are u?

Hey,
No u don`t have to be catholic to have a quinceanera. But the most important thing in a quinceanera is the mass (church) because it means that u want god to be in ur life and to have him in ur heart also it shows that god is accepting that ur turning from child to and adult and that ur maturing. The church is really important but if ur not catholic im sure u can still have a quinceanera!
