I'm getting ready for prom in a couple months and I need to start looking for a dress. The problem is that I have a large bust and I'm not sure what styles are good for that. I want something a little sexy and chic but I DO NOT want a granny gown. THis is important to me and if you have ANY suggestions PLEASE help me. It is greatly appreciated....thanks a lot!!!
Mandie I have the same problem, my bust size is a UK 32FF and is not in proportion to the rest of me - much to h2b's delight !!
I found with dresses the best kind to get is a corset style it holds you in really well and I don't even have to wear a bra with mine they are just so comfortable, excellent for ladies with big busts.
I also have this problem and am also not wearing a bra with my dress and have chosen a corset style from Maggie Sottero, it is feminine, shows my curves and I feel great in it. I also tried on style 9840 from Ian Stuart which again was great with my figure. I would say though only don't wear a bra if you have a corset gown.
As you know wearing a bra under a big dress isn't the most comfortable thing to do when you have a large bust - especially when it's hot out.
Sometimes wearing a very big dress isn't the best thing to do I found with my shopping experiences as it can make you look smaller therefore make your boobs look even bigger for your frame.
I havebeen through numerous shops and spoken to numerous people with regards to what I should and shouldn't wear , even though we have the same problem what looks good on me may not look good on you so make sure it's something you want something you love and something you are comfortable in
- not just something someone tells you to wear as they are trying to tout for business from you !!
