Need a Maggie Sottero Dress called 'Avalon' or Symona in size 12. I need it for the 5th July and realise that not being the only one who wants one I am willing to have it 2nd/3rd hand. If you can help please contact me.
Hi,
I have been looking at the Symona dress and want to know what someone who has this dress thinks of it. I am having a hard time finding a picture of hte back. Does anyone shave any pix?
I am getting married in November, and I too fell in love with the Symona dress. I took a gamble, and ordered the dress not seeing what the back looked like either. It just came in about 2 months ago, and it is GORGEOUS! I was so happy with the dress. It does not have a corset back (like most Sottero's). It has Crystal bead buttons down the back, and has the same detail on the upper back portion as front of the dress. I am very happy, and would recommend getting a Maggie Sottero wedding gown to anyone.
ATTN: Crystal and Liz! You both mentioned that you bought the Symona Dress and are really happy with it. Are either of you thinking of selling your gown after your wedding? If so - please email me, cherieoconnor@hotmail.com
Thanks heaps, Cherie
I just tried on the Symona and fell in love with it too! There is a store in Western Mass that carries it called Bridal Heirlooms (www.bridalheirlooms.com). Also, if you find a Maggie Sottero in the gown search on www.theknot.com, it will give you a list of stores in all states that carry her line.
I am selling my Symona right now on eBay under seller name in-favor. It's a plus sized gown - size 24. However, there are some smaller sized symonas on eBay currently too. They don't show up when you search title, but when you search title and auction description, they do.
"Settle" for second hand? I bet you can't get someone a new Symona for $300. If you can, you're doing something illegal. Man, vendors are everywhere. Sheesh. Just buy a freaking commercial or billboard like the rest of the world.
