MY FH AND I ARE GOING TO HAVE A SLIDE SHOW DURING THE CEREMONY WITH PICS OF US FROM CHILDHOOD UP TO RIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING. I WANT A CUTE , FUN SONG TO PLAY WITH THE SHOW. I WAS THINKING "I GOT YOU BABE" OR "I WANNA GROW OLD WITH YOU" FROM THE WEDDING SINGER. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Sorry I have no idea on songs, I think the two you have in mind sound great, especially "I want to grow old w/ you" but I had kinda imagined doing the same thing but didn't know how to go about it. Do you have any details you could share w/ me? I think it is a great idea and would give a bit more emotion to our wonderful and joyous day. Thank you and I will keep thinking.
I think you can do your photos on power point on a pc to make a slide show. If you do not have power point or aren't a computer whiz you can always have your regular photos made into slides at almost any photo processing place. Although it is more expensive, this is how my fiance and i are doing it. If you have any more questions, let me know. I will be glad to help if i can.
I think the song "Grow Old With Me" by Mary Chapin Carpenter would be appropriate. And "Through the Year" but I can't remember the artist's name. It was popular about 3-4 years ago. It might have been a duet.
How about the song from the Wedding Singer. It is cute, the one that Adam sings when they are on the plane. I did a mix of songs for a friends wedding slide show and that was the last song.

I went to a wedding where they played "What a Wonderful World" (I can't remember who sings it), and it was so cute and moving, that everyone was in tears. Or "Brown Eye Girl" if you have brown eyes, of course :).
I am putting together a slide show for my best friend's wedding next month... I am having a hard time picking a song to go with it. The couple getting married and most of the audience are "classic rock" listeners. I do not want to play your typical wedding mushy song. I was thinking along the lines of: "Who made you"- THe Who,,, "All you need is love" the Beatles,,,, or "TIme" by Coldplay. Do you have any other suggestions.
