Im a little confused on this .. My friend was telling me i had to buy gifts for the parents, even though im the one getting married. Is this true?? my parents arent the ones giving me way in my wedding, there names arent even on the invitations, my fiancee and i are the ones paying for are wedding. ...well, his mom wanted to help also and she is paying for are cake.
If so, what kinda things are good to get??
I seen these hankies that say "mother of the groom? and mother of the bride" do you think this would be nice?? since im already on a tight buget?

I got them each the hankies like you said but I also did something just a little more special. I got a frame that had enough spaces to put a picture of my fiance when he was about 3, one of me when I was about 3, then one of our engagement pictures (size 5x7) and then one space I put a little saying. "As our parents you gave us hope and understanding, but most of al you gave us love" Both sets of parents just loved it!
