I have this "good friend" who recently stood as my Maid of Honor. When she became engaged about 2 years ago, I was invited to be her Maitron of Honor since I would be married by the time her wedding rolled around. A month before my wedding, her brother got married. Since then she's invited her new sister=in-law to be the Maitron of Honer and has yet to tell me I've been fired. Do I attend her wedding when it occurs later in 2004 or do I not go. I would like to go because I am her friend, but after this, I somehow see she feels differently about me. I should add that we still speak often and haven't had any disputes. Her behavior is cowardly. Should I be passive and go or quietly make plans on her night to do something else?
If she is shy about approaching you, maybe like stated earlier, she is planning on having two. Or maybe she was forced (by future husband) to choose his sister. Give her the benefit of the doubt and wait patiently to see how things go. Maybe she will ask you to be a bridesmaid instead...
