Hey I'm having my 8th grade social next year May.
I want a dress for less then $80.00 cause I have to pay for my nails and hair and all that stuff. I want it to be unique. So if anyone knows anything Pleaseeeeee HELP ME! Thank you=)

I have an 8th grade social, also. I'm looking for a dress for less, too.
I'm thinking of something of color for the season (not just black or white). Short (e.x. Knee high or just above the knee) and cute. I say short & cute because this is not prom. U can wear long if you want too. I think we'll have plenty of time to go all out for proms or homecomings in high school.
I will be getting my hair and nails done with make-up, a natural look, of course, to complete the package.
Pretty jewelry that helps your outfit, not over the top crazy, but elegant. For instance, long earrings w/ no necklace(best) or subtle necklace. Or short or posted earrings w/ necklace.
If your going to wear shoes with heels, make sure u know how to walk and dance in them and be comfortable. If your not experienced, which we're clear not, wear something comfortable, maybe a low heel that looks great with your attire.
You should start looking now to get an idea. As far as knowing wear to go find these items. I don't know where you live but there's got to be plenty of places that have short formal dresses for less in your area. Look in the Internet, type in whatever it is that your looking for in the address box. You may find something like that. Check with your parents if they will buy it for you. I like trying on things. I think it's better. If your not a pro at putting an outfit together, like my mom. She could find a pair of shoes or jewelry that she likes and dress it up with an outfit. You probably should start with your dress, then jewelry, shoes, nails and hair.
And last but not least, this is a fun a occasion. Go to have fun and not to compete. Get out there and dance and take lots of pictures. Who cares what they think. Be confident and comfortable about yourself.
