At Combat Sports we believe that we have created a perfect environment for training teams to hone their teaming skills, develop their plan of attack and successfully overcome the competition. Most importantly your team will have loads of fun in the process of developing these skills.
There is a big difference between programs that focus on team spirit and programs that promote team building through the development of a lasting and well-coordinated team. All of our programs have value, but we have learned that programs which concentrate on team spirit tend to fade quickly, while the benefits of true team building usually last forever. Many times we see companies that start with our "Fun & Teamwork" program (which is designed to improve rapport and bonding), move onto team development programs.

Our events are designed as a fun hands-on team building experience to improve team effectiveness, team awareness and team leadership in the workplace. We strive to educate every participant about the substantial improvements they can achieve when performing as a team; rather than as a group of individuals.
Team Development Programs:
Initiate - This program is designed to test and assess your current level of team work. Our business coaches will work with each team to improve their team work.
Integrate - This program asks the participants to complete a short online assessment. Our industry leading assessment tool is then used to assist us in developing a focused training curriculum. Our mission agenda is designed to challenge your team to recognize their strengths and weaknesses. Our business coaches will work with each team to improve those areas of weakness.
Perpetuate - We consider this team building track to be our team work development program. While the other programs offer immediate and focused training, this program reaches beyond the boundaries of a mere 1/2 or full day activity. This program seeks to address the long term needs and development of the overall team and the individual members.
This program also uses our industry leading assessment tool to assist us in developing a focused training environment. We will develop a mission agenda that will integrate the overall team assessments. The agenda is designed to challenge the team to recognize their strengths and weaknesses. Our business coaches will work throughout the program to assist the team in developing their teaming skills. After the event is completed at our location, our business coaches will develop and document team assessments. The assessments will then be presented to your management team by one of our business coaches. Each assessment will assist your management team in identifying specific mentoring and/or training needs for the team and their members. The assessment also includes a recommended action plan that will detail suggested solutions to address the needs of your team.
Lead - This development track utilizes a one-on-one business coaching strategy to enable the designated leaders for the program to develop their skills in parallel with your team building program. Our business coaches will observe the leader during the leadership summit, strategic planning and mission play. After the team debriefing is complete, each leader will confidentially discuss their effectiveness with their personal business coach. Our business coach will suggest different techniques and approaches to assist each leader in being more effective. This program also introduces various conflict resolution techniques that can be effective for each leader's unique group dynamic.
Your Location or our location?
We can setup your program to take place at our site in Manalapan NJ or we can create a program at a venue of your choice. Please note that not all venues are suitable for this type of event, but we have traveled to other areas of the country to create this unique experience.
