We have strapping big guys (yes, some in kilts) to come to your party and cook right there. We serve heaping portions of Tri Tip, Chicken or your choice of other meats. We can keep it simple with traditional Baked Beans and Slaw, or do our Roasted vegetables and Garlic Potatoes.

Drooling Dog BarBQ is located on I~**, between Sacramento and Reno at the Colfax/Grass Valley Exit (***). We are "above the fog and below the snow" as the locals like to say. If you are traveling on ** to Lake Tahoe or Reno, we make the perfect stop if you are a barbecue lover. You can call ahead for food to go, or stop in for a bite. We have patio seating so you can dine with your own "drooling dog" (or kids!). We carry over ** speciality sodas plus California Microbrews and wines.

Drooling Dog has moved to *** A Harrison Ave, Auburn, Ca *****. Award winning BBQ sauce. The brisket is juicy, the chicken is tasty and the portions are generous. Delicious side dishes, especially the jalapeno cheese grits. We have the largest selection of sodas you've ever seen.
