Family Legacy Stories provides a way to capture those family stories and images, digitally on DVD, for you and your grandchildren to enjoy in future years.
The thought of misplacing treasured pictures and losing old stories as time erodes memoirs is unthinkable; but it happens! Family Legacy Stories is the answer to that problem as well as delivering a true timeless family treasure.
There are three components to the DVD movies that Family Legacy Stories creates:
The first is the pictures that are stored in photo albums and boxes at some family members home. The pictures you chose, are scanned, digitally enhanced, restored and creatively evolve into an engaging slide show with pans and zooms.
The second component is music. Selections of music, that you chose, are added to the slide show to reflect the mood and your family ancestry.
Lastly is voice. Your loved one's voice digitally recorded telling the stories of their lives going back as far as they can remember. These stories are edited then added to the slide show over the pictures and music.
The completed slide show is then turned into a DVD movie, which can be played on any compatible device. The end result is a true family treasure to be viewed whenever one desires.
My process for creating these family treasures is very interactive with the client. I provide an easy to use digital recording device for the story telling capture. I also include an interview guide with questions for the storyteller so as to put their thoughts into an order as well as assist with memory recall.

It starts with a great picture. My process includes restoration, color balancing, light correction, red eye removal, and cropping each photo for use in the movie.
I do not randomize photo transitions. Each transition is selected to suite the previous and next picture. I use the "Ken Burns" panning and zooming technique uniquely applied on each picture.
Music selections, that you provide, are then added to the slide show resulting is an entertaining, engaging, and heartwarming presentation.
The finished movie can play on any DVD device. You will receive as many as three copies in a customized DVD jacket. Also included, is a separate CD containing all the enhanced photo's.
