The Scarlett Belle Riverboat Paddlewheeler is a yacht newly built in 2007 in the Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard California. She can amodate 150 guests, climate controlled with heating or air. She cruises inside the Channel Islands harbor taking you thru the waterways and into the newer Westport and sea bridge homes. She has two levels and a wheel house, 2 handicap accessible spacious bathrooms, walk around decks on both upstairs and downstairs and gets lit up with sparkling lights for your event.
The downstairs deck called the dining ballroom looks romantically traditional of historic paddlewheel riverboats but boasts a modern feel. Coffered silver tin stamped ceilings, crystal chandeliers, arched French rounded windows for each dining table. A grand back window creates an awesome view of the dual red paddle wheels as they move through the water creating a waterfall effect from inside ballroom. Imagine the wedding cake centered high with the elegantly lit buffet here so everyone can enjoy the grand window view of the paddle wheels. Foe painting in silver tonespliments the black granite bar and carpet which allows any color to be introduced for your event that will not interfere... only bring out the colors of your themed event or wedding decor.
After dining the ballroom transforms into a full nightclub atmosphere equipped with a phenomenal sound system, light show of colored prisms of laser lights that brighten the room shine on the white dance floor. The grand staircase leads you up to the upper level deck. Brides love to take a picture on the staircase allowing there dress to flow along the steps as they turn their head and look down the stairs gazing down with her bouquet at her side.
The upstairs deck is a wonderful place to sit and lounge, hold a wedding ceremony or provide additional dining for parties of 80 or more guests. Fully enclosed in wall to wall in glass where you can take in world class views of the beach and the harbor sunsets. A granite Boutique bar with professional bartender is available. Music lowered for those wanting a quiet lounge atmosphere for after dinner drinks and has also have controlled heating or air.
Upstairs has a walk around gingerbread railing around the deck where one can venture outside and sit on the outdoor tables or cushioned seats. Walk around the back (the stern), see the lit up dual paddles churning, or walk to the front (the bow) of the boat see the black ornate tall steam stacks with gold trim. Experience a titanic moment when you and your loved one open your arms and embrace the open air facing out over the rail. Walk a few steps to upper level wheelhouse where the Captain drives. It is appointed with stamped copper tin ceiling and golden chandeliers to set off the cherry wood floor. The big paddle steering wheel is great for photo ops.
