Universal Ministries is a non-denominational Ministry, based in the belief of the Holy Spirit of God. We perform all church related procedures including Marriages,mitment and Renewal of Vows, Christenings, Weing Ceremonies, Counseling and Funeral Services.
WEDDINGS
Your wedding is one of the most important occasions of your life. It is very important for you to have it exactly the way that you want. Whether it is Religious, Spiritual, or abination of both, you should have the right to choose your style. For this reason, Universal Ministries will work with you to find the ceremony that best suits your needs and wants. There are several ceremonies that we can go over together. You can pick any of the readings that I can provide such as The Prophet by Khalil Gibran, My Love by Robert Burns, The Passionate Shepherd to His Love by Christopher Marlowe, Blessing of the Hands, The Art of A Good Marriage, by Wilfred Peterson. If there is a special reading you would like as a part of the ceremony you can have the reading included and you may have a friend or a relative do the reading at your ceremony. If you would like something more religious, you might want to use 1 Corinthians 13 Verses 4-7 which is the short version, and 1 Corinthians Chapter 13: Verses 1-10. We also offer special inserts such as Unity Candle, Sand Pouring Ceremony, Rose and Vase Ceremony, as well as a special presentation for you and your parents. Of course, you can add whatever you like. It is suggested that only two readings are picked in order for the service to be within a half hour. If you have a child or children that you would want included in your ceremony, we can provide that for you as well. A Counseling service is also available if you feel you need it. We like to meet with the couple in person, if possible to go over the ceremony and to obtain information. You will enter into an agreement with the Minster for this service. You will also receive a Church License, as well as a copy of the Ceremony. So, as you can see we go out of our way to amodate you in any way we can.
