Q. I've got this old picture of Mom, and it's the only one I've got of her, but it's all faded and looks crummy. What can you do for me?

A. A lot. Faded, dull, photos can look new or better than new. Cracks, fading, and dust spots can all be repaired. Color can be restored, but how well depends on how far gone the original is, and on what looks good to you.

We can also re-crop the original to improve it, and enlarge it to some extent. We can even remove imperfections such as facial blemishes or bad teeth that were in the original photographs, using Ohio Restoration Services and techniques.

Q. How do you do all of this?

A. We create a very high-resolution scan. Your original image is unharmed. Some restoration is done during the scanning process. Most is done with careful hand-work after the scan is complete. The scanned image is then sent to Photoshop where further enhancement and refinement are carried out.

Q. What does it cost me?

A. There is a $** fee to do the preliminary scan / restore. This is a major improvement to the image. After that, the photo restoration repairs are billed at $**.** per hour. We will call you with an estimate, and in **% of the cases, that's what you pay. If you prefer, we can restore your old photographs to a level that you set for us, so you are always within your budget.

Q. How quickly do I get my picture?

A. Depending on workload, you should receive the finished picture within two weeks. One week is more common.
